FOXTROT International, in collaboration with the Oil and Gas Council (CPG), organised an official ceremony to handover social housing built between 2019 and 2022 to the residents of the Grands-Ponts Region.
The ceremony took place on 05 May at Hôtel MKOA in Jacqueville, Côte d’Ivoire.

As part of its commitment to the communities in which it operates, FOXTROT, under the supervision of the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH), built and handed over 31 buildings.

In attendance were representatives from PETROCI, the DGH, the various local communities involved and their administrative authorities.

After a series of remarks delivered by the officials present at the event, Mr. Jean-Michel BONNET, Managing Director of FOXTROT, officially handed over the 31 buildings in the form of a symbolic key to Mr. Francis BOMBRO, the acting Chairman of the Oil and Gas Council (CPG) and to the representative of the village chiefs.
The Managing Director of FOXTROT expressed his gratitude to the local communities for their hospitality and, especially, their patience during the construction works. He shared that the estimated value of this social project is over one billion CFA francs and called on the beneficiaries to make good use of it.

He reiterated FOXTROT’s commitment to the communities of Jacqueville.
The acting Chairman of the Oil and Gas Council also expressed his gratitude to the DGH, PETROCI and FOXTROT for their contribution to this project.

The event ended in a festive atmosphere, with a hearty lunch.
